Heart muscle inflammation: disease course and prognosis
Myocarditis can occur at any age and affect young, healthy people. If the patients take good care of themselves, the course of the disease and prognosis are generally good. Heart muscle inflammation: duration
Acute myocarditis takes on average about six weeks. In individual cases, the duration of the disease depends on the extent of the inflammation and the general health of the patient.

Chronic myocarditis
